Oktoberfest

We are getting close to that time of year when people start throwing Oktoberfest celebrations. The first Oktoberfest celebration starts tomorrow, Thursday September 12th, and goes through the weekend. It will be held on the Redstone Arsenal and is open to the public. Old Black Bear will be pouring some of their beers and there will be plenty of German beer flowing as well. For more information and times, checkout the MWR website.

The next Oktoberfest celebration will be on Saturday September 22nd starting at 3pm. This event will be held at the Straight to Ale taproom and will feature 4 German style beers. Stop Work 689 Kolsch, He Aint Heffe Hefeweizen, Montesano Maibock, and Redstone Oktoberfest. The last Oktoberfest celebration is actually a beer festival on October the 6th starting at 2pm in Cullman, AL. This will be the first annual beer festival in Cullman called "Tastes of the Biergarten". It will feature imported German beers along with several Huntsville and Alabama breweries.
